 Gudivada, July 29 (prajaamaravati): State Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kodali Srivenkateswara Rao (Nani) has said that rice has been distributed free of cost under PMGKY through ration dealers to one crore 19 lakh 29 thousand 642 cardholders in the state.  Minister Kodali Nani spoke to reporters at Krishna District Gudivada on Thursday. There are a total of one crore 48 lakh 17 thousand 365 rice cards in the state, of which 5 kg of rice is being provided free of cost to each family member.  Meanwhile, Kurnool district has a total of 12 lakh 23 thousand 898 rice cards and so far 9 lakh 71 thousand 893 cards have been supplied free of cost.  Prakasam district has a total of 10 lakh 03 thousand 280 rice cards up to 7 lakh 80 thousand 638 cards, West Godavari district has a total of 12 lakh 47 thousand 805 rice cards up to 10 lakh 17 thousand 854 cards, YSR Kadapa district has a total of 8 lakh 19 thousand 700.  While there are rice cards for 6 lakh 47 thousand 245 cards till now, Chittoor district has a total of 11 lakh 63 thousand 677 rice cards till now 9 lakh 49 thousand 358 cards and Visakhapatnam district has a total of 12 lakh 78 thousand 952 rice cards till now 10 lakh 85 thousand 024  For cards, Vijayanagaram district has a total of 6 lakh 99 thousand 230 rice cards up to 6 lakh 16 thousand 325 cards, Anantapur district has a total of 12 lakh 27 thousand 338 rice cards up to 10 lakh 19 thousand 309 cards and Guntur district has a total of 14 lakh 87 thousand 930.  While there are rice cards for 11 lakh 34 thousand 751 cards so far, there are 16 lakh 50 thousand 540 rice cards in East Godavari district till now 13 lakh 56 thousand 444 cards.  Krishna district has a total of 13 lakh 105 thousand 118 rice cards, up to 9 lakh 84 thousand 810 cards, Srikakulam district has a total of 8 lakh 17 thousand 055 rice cards and so far 6 lakh 89 thousand 586 cards, Nellore district has a total of 8 lakh 92 thousand 842 rice cards.  While there are cards, so far 6 lakh 76 thousand 405 cards have been given rice for free.  Meanwhile, the distribution of essentials to rice cardholders across the state is on the rise.  79 per cent in Kurnool district, 78 per cent in Prakasam district, 79 per cent in YSR Kadapa district, 83 per cent in Anantapur district, 81 per cent in West Godavari district, 82 per cent in Chittoor district, 76 per cent in Guntur district, 88 per cent in Vizianagaram district, 85 per cent in Visakhapatnam district and 82 per cent in East Godavari district.  Minister Kodali Nani said that 75 per cent of the distribution process has been completed in Krishna district, 84 per cent in Srikakulam district and 76 per cent in Nellore district.
