AP Chief Minister calls on Governor

Vijayawada, June 6 (prajaamaravathi):Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy along with his wife Smt. Y.S. Bharathi Reddy, called on Andhra Pradesh Governor Sri Biswabhusan Harichandan and Lady Governor Smt. Suprava Harichandan at Raj Bhavan here on a courtesy visit on Monday.

Sri R.P. Sisodia, Special Chief Secretary to Governor welcomed Chief Minister Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, on his arrival at Raj Bhavan.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister has briefed Governor Sri Harichandan about various welfare schemes being implemented by the State govt. for the benefit of large number of people from weaker sections. The Chief Minister invited the Governor to participate in the Maha Samprokshana and other connected programmes in Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple, newly constructed by the TTD with a budget of Rs.40 crore in 25 acres of land in Amaravati. The Chief Minister also discussed about the monsoon session of the Assembly to be convened soon and important Bills to be placed before the House for approval. 

The Chief Minister and his wife felicitated the Governor and the Lady Governor with a memento and a shawl. 

Sri Talasila Raghuram, MLC & Programme Coordinator, Sri Malladi Vishnu, MLA, NTR District Collector Sri Dilli Rao, Vijayawada Police Commissioner Sri Kanti Rana Tata and other officials were present on the occasion.
