Gudivada, July 29 (prajaamaravati): State Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kodali Srivenkateswara Rao (Nani) has said that 35 lakh 45 thousand 191 metric tonnes of grain has been procured from farmers so far in connection with the rabi season in the state. Minister Kodali Nani spoke to reporters at Krishna District Gudivada on Thursday. So far Rs. 6,369.31 crore was credited to the accounts of the farmers. Another Rs. 267.76 crore to be paid to the farmers. On Thursday, Rs. 42.12 crore was credited to farmers' accounts. In Anantapur district, 18 thousand 848 metric tonnes of grain was procured and sold for Rs. 35.31 crore was credited to farmers' accounts. He also said that 2,356 metric tonnes of grain was procured in Chittoor district and Rs 2.02 crore was paid. In East Godavari district 11 lakh 69 thousand 292 metric tonnes of grain was procured and Rs. 2,094.64 crore and purchased one lakh 57 thousand 012 metric tonnes of grain in Guntur district. 273. 39 crores were credited to the accounts of the farmers. Procured 15 thousand 070 metric tonnes of grain in YSR Kadapa district at a cost of Rs. 27.70 crore and purchased 4 lakh 01 thousand 140 metric tonnes of grain in Krishna District, Rs.702.69 crores. In Kurnool district 12 thousand 160 metric tons of grain was procured, Rs. 19.67 crore. In Prakasam district, 77,649 metric tonnes of grain has been procured and Rs 139.59 crore has been paid so far. 2 lakh 54 thousand 627 metric tonnes of grain was procured in Nellore district and Rs 460.95 crore was paid. In Srikakulam district, 20,440 metric tonnes of grain was procured and Rs 35.01 crore was paid. In Visakhapatnam district, 15,192 metric tonnes of grain was procured and Rs 23.35 crore was paid. In Vijayanagaram district 14 thousand 797 metric tons of grain was procured and Rs.18.14 crore was paid. In West Godavari district, 13 lakh 86 thousand 608 metric tonnes of grain was procured and Rs 2,536.94 crore was deposited in farmers' accounts. 27 lakh in Anantapur district, Rs. 2.43 crore in Chittoor district and Rs. 90.07 crore in East Godavari District, Rs. 23.05 crore in Guntur district, Rs. 51 lakh in YSR Kadapa district and Rs. 49.97 crore in Krishna District, Rs. 3.22 crore in Kurnool district and Rs. 6.64 crore in Prakasam District, in Nellore district Rs. 19.36 crore and in Srikakulam district Rs. 3.19 crore, Rs. 5.03 crore in Visakhapatnam district and Rs. 9.50 crore in Vizayanagaram District and in West Godavari district Rs. 54.52 crore due to farmers. Payments for these arrears are in the uploading stage and payments will be made as soon as they are uploaded in the respective districts. Minister Kodali Nani said adequate cash was available at the Civil Supplies Corporation.
