Gudivada, Aug 31(prajaamaravati): State Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kodali Srivenkateswara Rao (Nani) has said that rice has been distributed free of cost under PMGKY through ration dealers to one crore 21 lakh 66 thousand 662 cardholders in the state. Minister Kodali Nani spoke to reporters at the camp office in Krishna District Gudivada on Tuesday. There are a total of one crore 48 lakh 56 thousand 590 rice cards in the state, of which 5 kg of rice is being provided free of cost to each family member. Meanwhile, 9 lakh 70 thousand 743 cards were distributed free of cost in Kurnool district. 7 lakh 92 thousand 730 cards in Prakasam district, 10 lakh 37 thousand 477 cards in West Godavari district, 6 lakh 60 thousand 668 cards in YSR Kadapa district, 9 lakh 66 thousand 613 cards in Chittoor district, 11 lakh 10 thousand 325 cards in Visakhapatnam district,
6 lakh 24 thousand 407 in Vijayanagaram district.
10 lakh 35 thousand 269 cards in Anantapur district, 11 lakh 41 thousand 729 cards in Guntur district, 14 lakh 12 thousand 631 cards in East Godavari district, 10 lakh 01 thousand 382 cards in Krishna district and 7 lakh 19 thousand 045 cards in Srikakulam district. Nellore district 6 lakh 93 thousand 643 cards for free rice. 79.09 per cent in Kurnool district, 78.77 per cent in Prakasam district, 80.37 per cent in YSR Kadapa district, 84.06 per cent in Anantapur district, 82.99 per cent in West Godavari district, 82.78 per cent in Guntur district, 76.52 per cent in Guntur district, 89.07 per cent in Vizianagaram district, 86.60 per cent in Visakhapatnam district and 85.43 per cent in East Godavari district. Minister Kodali Nani said the distribution process was 76.56 per cent in Krishna district, 87.76 per cent in Srikakulam district and 77.46 per cent in Nellore district.
