Lokesh visits Bhadrachalam, prays for Telugu States
2 CMs should use friendship to solve inter-State disputes
Prays for strength to people to overcome Covid troubles
AMARAVAT I (prajaamaravati): TDP National General Secretary and MLC Nara Lokesh on Tuesday visited Bhadrachalam and had darshan at the Sri Sita Ramachandraswamy Temple there.
Mr. Lokesh said that he had prayed for giving strength to the people to overcome the Coronavirus pandemic troubles and for the health and prosperity of the people. He prayed that the two Telugu States should cooperate with each other and go forward in the path of development and progress by maintaining cordial relations.
When the media posed questions, Mr. Nara Lokesh said that he would not like to talk about politics during his current visit to the temple. He had darshan at Bhadrachalam temple during a brief stopover while on his way to visit the tribal evacuees under the Polavaram project.
Mr. Lokesh said that he had sought the blessings of the God for resolving the problems of the Polavaram displaced families in a positive manner and in their favour. He evaded a direct reply when asked about the inter-state dispute relating to 5 panchayats in Bhadrachalam. However, Mr. Nara Lokesh suggested that the issue could be easily resolved in a moment if the two Chief Ministers got the will since they had been known as good friends.
