RP Sisodia assumes charge as Spl. Chief Secretary to Governor
Vijayawada, August 23 (prajaamaravati): Sri R.P. Sisodia has assumed charge as Special Chief Secretary to Governor at Raj Bhavan on Monday. Sri Sisodia met Governor Sri Biswa Bhusan Harichandan in his chambers, before assuming charge as Special Chief Secretary to Governor and later held a meeting with officers of the Raj Bhavan and enquired about duties and responsibilities of each officer. Sri Sisodia informed the officers that they have to work with diligence and maintain the dignity of the office of the Governor by working together with coordination and ensure that the prestige of the office is enhanced. Sri R.P. Sisodia,1991 batch IAS officer of Andhra Pradesh Cadre belonging to Rajasthan State, has earlier held several key posts such as Additional Commissioner, GHMC, Collector, Nalgonda, Director, eSeva, Secretary, Board of Intermediate Education, Commissioner of Horticulture, Director of Dr. MCR HRD Institute, in the combined State. After State bifurcation, Sri Sisodia held the posts of Principal Secretary, Education, Principal Secretary, Tribal Welfare, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Education, Government of India etc. and was responsible for implementing several key reforms in the education sector. Prior to joining as Special Chief Secretary to Governor, Sri Sisodia worked as Commissioner of Enquiries in GAD.
