Gudivada, Aug 24 (prajaamaravati): State Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kodali Srivenkateswara Rao (Nani) has said that CM Jaganmohan Reddy is providing modern facilities in Anganwadi schools in the state. He was reviewing the repairs of Anganwadi schools in Krishna District Gudivada constituency on Tuesday. On the occasion, Minister Kodali Nani said that large-scale development programs are being carried out in Gudivada constituency. As part of this, the government will provide Rs.5.80 crore has been sanctioned. He said complete repairs are being made to the anganwadi buildings. He said the government has taken steps to ensure that Anganwadi schools have permanent buildings as well as electricity and toilet facilities. He said the government would soon convert Anganwadi schools into YSR pre-primary schools. The government has already issued directives to provide all necessary facilities for children to study freely. On Mana Anganwadi Nadu - Nedu we are providing facilities in schools through the program. There are 55,607 Anganwadi schools in the state. Of these, 28,169 schools have government buildings. He said most of the repairs needed to be done as they were built before 2010. Currently 27 thousand 438 Anganwadi schools are running in rented buildings. Of these, 3,928 new buildings have been stalled since 2016 at various stages. CM Jaganmohan Reddy directed that the unfinished buildings should be completed immediately and construction work was going on to that extent. The government has allocated Rs 214 crore for this. Through the Swachchandra Corporation, Rs. 29.17 crore for construction of toilets. The government has sanctioned 8,000 new Anganwadi buildings. He said the building would allow children to play and eat. He said 11 thousand 928 new buildings will come into use if the newly sanctioned and unfinished buildings are completed. With this, only 15 thousand 510 Anganwadi schools will be in rented buildings. He said the government was making tough arrangements to make the services of Anganwadi centers more transparent. He said the government was trying to improve the situation in the past and make it a useful center for mothers. Constantly updating the nutrition and other services provided to a total of 32 lakh 59 thousand 042 people in 55 thousand 607 Anganwadi Centers in the state in the complete YSR nutrition app. Minister Kodali Nani said the government has prepared plans to implement pre-primary education policy in Anganwadi centers from this academic year.
