Gudivada, September 3 (prajaamaravati): Kodali Srivenkateswara Rao (Nani), Minister of State for Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, directed the Salvation Army representatives to conduct extensive education, medical, social and spiritual services. Salvation Army Divisional Commander Major ID Ebenezer met Minister Kodali Nani courtesy at Krishna District Gudivada on Friday. Major B. Joseph, who has been the Divisional Commander till now, has been transferred to Chennai on promotion as Lieutenant Colonel. Ebenezer, who was serving as Divisional Commander in Vijayawada, was transferred as Gudivada Divisional Commander. On the occasion, Minister Kodali Nani was presented with bouquets by Ebenezer, who has just taken over as Divisional Commander. Richly honored with flags. Divisional Commander Ebenezer briefed Minister Kodali Nani on the services provided by the Salvation Army on the occasion. Afterwards, Minister Kodali Nani said that the Salvation Army was appreciated for providing education, medicine, social and spiritual services in 132 countries. It was suggested that community service activities should be carried out extensively even within the Gudivada division. He said the state government was giving highest priority to education and medical sectors. Today, through the program, CM Jaganmohan Reddy said that he has initiated revolutionary changes in the fields of education and Health. Everyone aspires to be partners in government programs. Minister Kodali Nani also said that he would be cooperating with the Salvation Army programs. The event was attended by Salvation Army Divisional Secretary Captain T Shekhar, Captain M Mallibabu, Lieutenant Kantarao, Major P Samuel, Major D Samuel and others.
