 Gudivada, September 23 (prajaamaravati): Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao (Nani), Minister of State for Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, said that it is commendable that the Addepalli Purushottam,  Honorary President of the Gudivada Municipal Workers Union has set up the Charitable Trust in memory of his father Addepalli Paparao and has been conducting service programs for the poor in and around Gudivada town.  Purushottam's birthday celebrations were held on Thursday at the union office near Kaviraja Kala Mandiram in Krishna District Gudivada town.  Purushottam cut the cake in the presence of Minister Kodali Nani who was the chief guest.  On this occasion, Minister Kodali Nani fed the cake and wished Purushottam a happy birthday.

 Later, Minister Kodali Nani told reporters that Purushottam, who is working towards the welfare of workers and social service, should celebrate more birthdays.  God wanted to give them a high place in society.  He said that Purushittam, his family members should be full of health for hundreds of years and God bless them. He said he has had close ties with the Addepalli family since childhood.  He said Purushottam father, the late Paparao, worked as a journalist and after his death, set up the Addepalli Paparao Charitable Trust and run service programs for the poor.  Minister Kodali Nani hoped that more service programs would be conducted through the trust.  Former Municipal Vice Chairman Adapa Babji said Addepalli Purushottam was happy to celebrate his birthday modestly among the workers.  Whatever event is organized, it will be celebrated Minister Kodali Nani, in his presence.  Purushottam and his fans are working for the victory of Minister Kodali Nani in Gudivada constituency.  Later, Minister Kodali Nani and former Municipal Vice Chairman Adapa Babji honored Purushottam with yards.  Sarees were distributed to women.  Meals were provided to all workers.  Former councilor Mallipudi Srinivasa Chakravarti, YSR Congress party leaders Loya Rajesh, Addepalli Hari Hara Prasad, union president Gullapalli Srinivasa Rao, secretary Dhanala Bujji, leaders Kagga Durgarao, Vampugadda Anand, Gandikota Anjaneyulu, Choragudi Rajesh, Muthyala Rajesh, Routhu Keshavardhan,  , Reddy Ankalu, Kasturi Kiran, Kaki Durga Lakshmana Rao, Vaddadi Balaji, Vaddadi Subrahmanyam, Battula Parvati, Battula Ravikiran and others participated.
