Gudivada, September 2 (prajaamaravati): The late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy is a great man who has remained in the hearts of the poor, said YSR Congress party state leader Dukkipati Sasibhushan. The funeral of the late Rajasekhara Reddy was held on Thursday in Janardhanapuram village of Nandivada mandal under Krishna District Gudivada constituency. On this occasion, YCP state leader Dukkipati Shasibhushan laid flowers and paid tributes to the YSR statue. Speaking at a subsequent meeting, he lamented that it was his birthright to pay homage to his idol on the occasion of YSR's death. The late YSR has done a lot for the poor. Awadh expressed that he unfortunately died prematurely while going to the Rachchabandha event. YSR has implemented fee reimbursement for poor children to pursue higher studies. He also said that corporate medicine was also provided free of cost to the poor. Medical services such as 104 and 108 have also been made available. Village Sarpanch Dara Mariamma, celebrities Malireddy Ramadasureddy, Kondapalli Kumar Reddy, Koppula Joji, J. Yedukondalu, Bosam Padmavati, Battula Banerjee, Lingala President, Kollareddy Narapareddy, Gadireddy Balayya and others were present on the occasion.
