Show sympathy towards helpless animals – R.P. Sisodia tells members of Bharat Scouts & Guides 


Dr. R.P. Sisodia, Special C.S. to Governor participates in the State Council Meeting of Bharat Scouts & Guides in Vijayawada

Vijayawada, October 7 (prajaamaravati): Dr. R.P. Sisodia, Special Chief Secretary to Governor, participated in the meeting of the State Council of the Bharat Scouts & Guides, Andhra Pradesh State Association, held in IMA Hall in Vijayawada on Thursday. Dr. Sisodia, who participated as Chief Guest at the meeting on behalf of the Governor, said solidarity, amity and universal brotherhood is the motto of the Bharat Scouts & Guides movement and members of the organization are trained to become peace loving human beings, who love to join this movement to achieve constructive work in life. Dr. Sisodia said it is a well known fact that the movement of Scouts and Guides is the biggest non-political, educational, disciplined uniformed voluntary youth force in the world, in India and the State of Andhra Pradesh. He further said that the movement is open to all without restriction of religion, caste or creed and it is a fact that since its inception the Bharat Scouts & Guides, Andhra Pradesh, has been pursuing programmes to shape and sculptor the minds of young people of Andhra Pradesh for identifying themselves with the Indian society, its ethos and its problems and their solutions. 

He expressed concern over the lack of sympathy and empathy towards animals, which are helpless creatures and never harmed anyone and never harmed the nature but we see them suffering day in and day out and people do nothing about it to help them. He requested members of the State Council of the Bharat Scouts & Guides to also make it a kind of a motto and mission that some empathy and sympathy is shown towards the helpless animals, wherever they find them in need of some care or protection. He appreciated the services provided by the State Association during Corona pandemic and said that the Scouts & Guides movement should be implemented in the Higher Education institutions also.

While the new Executive Council of the AP State Association took oath on the occasion, Dr. R.P. Sisodia, Special Chief Secretary to Governor and Smt. Vetri Seli, Project Director, Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, have been appointed as Vice Presidents of the State Association. Sri V. China Veerabhadrudu, Commissioner of School Education, Chief Commissioner of AP State Association, Col. Ramulu, Commissioner, AYUSH department and other members of the AP State Association of Bharat Scouts & Guides, attended the meeting.
