Gudivada, Dec 22 (prajaamaravati): State Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kodali Srivenkateswara Rao (Nani) has said that the city of Gudivada will bring pre-eminence to the theater with modern touches in view of the changes taking place in the art world.  Minister Kodali Nani unveiled the newly erected statue of SP Balasubramaniam by the Gudivada Kalakarula Samakya in front of the Gana Gandharva Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao statue at the Rajabapayya Chowk Center in Gudivada town in Krishna district.  On this occasion, Minister Kodali Nani laid flowers and paid rich tributes to the statue of SP Balu.  During the meeting, Minister Kodali Nani said that he was happy to unveil the statue of SP Bala Subramaniam in Gudivada town by the Kalakarula Samakya.  Gudivada Gadda has elevated many artists and singers. Gandharva Ghansala has earned world fame by promoting singers like SP Balu since childhood.  Parents should provide appropriate encouragement for young children to become proficient in their respective fields, depending on their interest.  Every parent wants to have a good education, a good job, to be financially stable and to support their family.  Leave it all to what the kids like.  Encouraging them to observe what they are interested in will bring good name and fame to the country along with their parents.  Children want to give up the intention to live a mechanical life.  Some babies are said to have great symptoms at birth.  Parents want to share in the child’s liking.  Only then can giants like NTR, ANR, Kaikala, Ghantasala, SP Balu be passed on to future generations.  The Gudivada area is said to be the birthplace of the arts and the artists here continue to work for the development of the arts even today without any income.  They are living with the vision of showcasing art to people.  He said such artists need to be honored appropriately.  The auditorium, which will be used for the theater, will be set up at the municipal premises in Gudivada town at a cost of Rs. 2 crore.  The unveiling of the statue of SP Balu in Gudivada town was commendable and unfortunately his death was tragic.  Minister Kodali Nani prayed to God to grant peace to the soul of SP Balu.  Minister Kodali Nani honored the donors who had earlier contributed to the unveiling of the SP Balu statue.  Natta Kamalakumari, a renowned artist who has performed extensively across the state with female characters, was honored.  Government identity cards were handed out to several artists. Samakya President B Ramamohan Reddy, Treasurer Vinnakota Satyanarayana (Bujji), members Loya Radhakrishna, Ammula Parvati, Suvarna, D Varalakshmi, L Prakash, P Shyam, T Ratnadas, TS Babu, BV Satyam, MSV Satyanarayana Babu, YCP state leader Dukkipati Sasibhushan,  Former Municipal Vice Chairman Adapa Babji, party town president Gorla Srinu, district steering committee member Mandali Hanumantrao and others were present.
