 Gudivada, Dec 31 (prajaamaravati): State Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kodali Srivenkateswara Rao (Nani) has said he will stay away from the New Year celebrations of 2022.  On Friday in Krishna District Gudivada, Minister Kodali Nani warned that there was a danger of the corona virus spreading rapidly in the form of omicron in the state.  He said the government was taking all measures as part of which it was giving utmost priority to public health care.  People are also advised to remain vigilant and follow the Covid rules.  Those who have taken both vaccines as part of preventing the spread of Covid are also required to wear masks as well as physical distance.  Sanitizers should also be used as in the past.  He appealed to the family members to spend the New Year celebrations happily.  Happy 2022 New Year to the people of the state.  May the New Year be good for all the people of the state and may God give them good health and prosperity.  May God help me to live a better life than last year.  The New Year is meant to bring excitement and joy to everyone.  Every year on the first day of the new year it is becoming a tradition to greet people personally together in a pleasant atmosphere.  He said he would not be celebrating the New Year this year and would not even be available.  Minister Kodali Nani has appealed to YSR Congress party leaders, activists, fans, official and unofficial dignitaries not to come to his residence, party office or camp office.
