Youth Day celebrations denied to AP youth

No job calendar and no new industries

AMARAVATI (prajaamaravati): TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh on Wednesday called upon the young generation of Andhra Pradesh to fight for bringing a positive change in the face of decline in development and diminished job opportunities.

Lokesh appealed to the youth to follow the call given by Swami Vivekananda and rededicate themselves to the cause of putting the State back on track. On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda birthday celebrations, Lokesh paid rich tributes and stressed the need for greater awareness among the youth.

In a statement here, Nara Lokesh said no new industries were coming to AP and even existing ones were not comfortable in the past three years. There were no job notifications and no self-employment loans. Even the assistance for Videsi Vidya was cancelled.

Lokesh recalled how Swamy Vivekananda gave a call to the youth to serve the country by becoming its muscle of iron, nerves of steel and strong resolve. Swami Vivekananda's birthday has been celebrated as National Youth Day.

Nara Lokesh extended his Youth Day greetings to the AP youth and asserted that the day would come when the young generation would teach a strong lesson to the present YSRCP Government. Real Youth Day celebrations could be celebrated only when there would be a change in the State. It would be possible only when development would create new opportunities.

Lokesh termed it as unfortunate that the present rulers had caused despair and disappointment among the youth of AP at every step since they came to power in 2019. They betrayed the youth by not releasing even one genuine job calendar till now.
