Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy calls on the Governor


Vijayawada, February 28 (prajaamaravati): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy along with his wife Smt. Y.S. Bharathi Reddy called on Governor Sri Biswabhusan Harichandan and Lady Governor Smt. Suprava Harichandan at Raj Bhavan on Monday. 

On his arrival at Raj Bhavan, Chief Minister Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was received by Sri R.P. Sisodia, Special Chief Secretary to Governor.

Chief Minister Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy discussed with Governor Sri Harichandan for about half an hour on various issues concerning the State. Chief Minister Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy briefed the Governor about the Budget Session of the Andhra Pradesh Legislature scheduled to commence from March 7 and invited the Governor to address the joint session of the Legislature on the first day. 

He also briefed the Governor about the gazette notification issued by the State Government on the formation of new districts on the basis of one district for each Parliamentary Constituency and two districts covering the agency areas, to be functional from Ugadi festival onwards. 

Sri Thalasila Raghuram, MLC, Sri A. Shyam Prasad, Joint Secretary to Governor, were also present on the occasion.
