Governor greets Prime Minister on his birthday
Vijayawada, September 17 (prajaamaravathi): Andhra Pradesh Governor Sri Biswabhusan Harichandan has conveyed his greetings to Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi on his birthday on Saturday.
In a letter addressed to the Prime Minister, Governor Sri Harichandan said “I along with the people of Andhra Pradesh, with pleasure and privilege convey our heartiest felicitations and warm greetings to you on your Birthday. As the country is celebrating ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ commemorating 75th year of Independence, the Nation is marching ahead and scaling greater heights in all key development sectors. It was a proud moment for the entire nation when you installed and inaugurated the 28 feet huge statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the great son of India and the dynamic leader of the freedom movement replacing the statue of George V and renamed the Rajpath (King’s Way) as Kartavya Path. Your historic decision and inspiring address for removing the symbol of slavery had been greeted with thunderous applause by the mammoth gathering there and enkindled the spirit of nationalism in the hearts of the people all over the country. I pray Lord Jagannath and Lord Venkateswara to shower their blessings on you for a fruitful and long life, good health, joy, and happiness and to lead the Nation to reach its greatest height.
