 Gudivada September 22 (prajaamaravathi): Telugu Desam Party State Executive Secretary and Workers' Welfare Fund Coordinator Sistla Lohit has called for support for the three-day Amaravati to Arasavelli Maha Padayatra in Gudivada constituency.  Sistla Lohit issued a statement at the Krishna district gudivada on Thursday.  He said that the Maha Padayatra under the auspices of the Amaravati Parirakshana Samiti will enter the Gudivada constituency on 23rd, 24th and 25th of this month.  He said that this great march is taking place with the slogan of one state, one capital.  They demanded to continue Amaravati as the state capital. He said that this great padayatra will be held in Gudivada constituency so that the eyes of the state government will be disturbed.  The slogan of Amaravati as public capital will be spread through this great padayatra.  Farmers, Telugu Desam Party leaders, activists, fans and trade union leaders of Gudivada constituency participated in a large scale and appealed to show solidarity in this grand march.  The state government was also asked to respect the aspirations of the people.  He said that all the people want Amaravati to be made the capital.  He explained that this grand march was undertaken to inform the government of the will of the people to continue Amaravati as the public capital.  Sistla Lohit suggested that the government should respond and fulfill the aspiration of the people of the state by establishing Amaravati as the capital.
