Governor visits Tirumala for Brahmotsavams
Vijayawada, October 3 (prajaamaravathi): Andhra Pradesh Governor Sri Biswabhusan Harichandan along with Lady Governor Smt. Suprava Harichandan, visited Tirumala along with his family members and offered special prayers at Lord Sri Venkateswara temple, on the auspicious occasion of the Brahmotsavams on Monday. On his arrival at the temple in Tirumala, Governor Sri Harichandan was welcomed with traditional temple honours by TTD Chairman Sri Y.V. Subba Reddy, E.O. Sri A.V. Dharma Reddy, and they accompanied the Governor during his darshan. After, darshan, the Governor and the Lady Governor were presented Sesha vastrams and were bestowed Veda Ashirvachanam by the temple priests.
Earlier, Governor Sri Harichandan was extended warm welcome at the Renigunta International Airport by Tirupati District Collector Sri K. Venkataramana Reddy, Anantapur Range DIG Sri Ravi Prakash, Tirupati S.P. Sri Parameswara Reddy, Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswavidyalayam Vice Chairperson Smt. D. Jamuna and other officers. After his visit to Tirumala, Governor Sri Harichandan left for Vijayawada from Renigunta International airport later in the evening.
