Governor to inaugurate ‘Ayurveda Parv’ in Rajamahendravaram

Vijayawada, November 17 (praja amaravati): Andhra Pradesh Governor Sri Biswabhusan Harichandan is scheduled to visit Rajamahendravaram on Friday to inaugurate ‘Ayurveda Parv’, the three-day national-level programme organized by Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI), Vijayawada in association with the Ministry of AYUSH and Vinoba Seva Pratisthan, an NGO.

The programme’s main objective is to popularize Ayurveda as a mainstream treatment for current lifestyle diseases and spread awareness on the facilities available in the State for Ayurveda treatment. 

Giving details of the Governor’s tour programme, Sri R.P. Sisodia, Special Chief Secretary to Governor said that Governor Sri Harichandan will reach Rajamahendravaram by helicopter at 10.45 in the morning on Friday. He will reach Anam Kala Kendra, the venue of the programme by 11.30 and participate in the ‘Ayurveda Parv’ programme. After the programme, the Governor will return to Vijayawada by helicopter on the same day.
