Sankranti celebrations held at Raj Bhavan

Vijayawada, January 12 (prajaamaravathi): Sankranti celebrations were held at Andhra Pradesh Raj Bhavan premises with the active participation of officers and staff members of the Raj Bhavan in various Games and competitions held on the occasion here on Thursday.

Lady Governor Smt. Suprava Harichandan went around and appreciated the women staff members who participated in the Rangoli competitions for their colourful designs on different themes. Later, the Lady Governor presented prizes to the teams adjudged as the first, second and third in the Rangoli competitions at a programme held in Durbar Hall in Raj Bhavan. The officers and staff members have also participated in several other Games and competitions held on the occasion and they were also served lunch as part of the Sankranti festival celebrations.

Sri P.S. Suryaprakash, Joint Secretary to Governor, Sri Narayanaswamy, Deputy Secretary and other officers and staff members were also present on the occasion.
