*WAVES 2025 – A great opportunity for students to participate*
*YUVA Ustav 2024 organised at Vijaya Institute of Technology for Women*

Shri Rajinder Chaudhry, Additional Director General, Press Information Bureau, Vijayawada, has appealed to the students to participate in the ongoing competitions being conducted as part of World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025. He delivered an inspiring session detailing the opportunities and challenges of WAVE Summit India through a Power Point presentation during the District level Yuva Utsav 2024.
The Yuva Utsav has been organised on the theme of The Panch Pran of Amrit Kaal Goal of Developed India@2047, in Vijaya Institute of Technology for Women, by Nehru Yuva Kendra NTR District.
Addressing the participant students, Shri Rajinder Chaudhry advised them to become content creator, instead of becoming a mobile addict. Highlighting various opportunities available in entertainment sector, he motivated students to explore their potential and actively participate in the upcoming competitions created by the WAVE Summit India. Emphasizing the importance of embracing challenges to achieve success. Shri Chaudhry congratulated the students participating in various competitions in Yuva Utsav.
NYK Vijayawada has organised Science Mela, contests for Writers, Artists, and Photographers and in declamation. On the occasion, Cultural Festival in Folk Group was also organised.
Shri Shubham Nokhwal, Assistant Collector NTR Dstrict, Shri Ramesh Kolleti, District NSS Coordinator, Sunkara Ramu, District NYK officer and R Ramesh Chandra, Assistant Director, CBC Field Unit Guntur were also present in the inaugural ceremony of the Yuva Utsav. Shri Subham interacted with students and shared valuable information regarding career particularly UPSC civil services examinations.
Students from 14 colleges from NTR district have participated in various competitions held as part of Yuva Utsav 2024. Winners from different disciplines were awarded with prizes and cash rewards.
Guntur Field Unit of Central Bureau of Communication, MEPMA, NSS unit of Dr C Sobhanadri Siddhartha College of Nursing and self-help groups have organised stalls in the Yuva Utsav.
