Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland and Minister in-charge of Planning & Transformation and National Highways, T R Zelaing today inaugurated the 10 day Multimedia Exhibition being organized by the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting  at Naga Heritage Village, Kohima this evening.

Kripa Shankar Yadav, ADG, Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) Guwahati, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting attended the inauguration as the guest of honour.

After the inauguration, T R Zeliang visited the exhibition which also showcased antique and modern equipments of Akashvani Kohima.

In a short speech, ADG Kripa Shankar Yadav said the main purpose of organising the exhibition is to showcase the various Flagship Schemes and Policies of the Central Government and Modi 3.0 and India's March towards Viksit Bharat by the year 2047.

Information on the benefits of these schemes and policies are being disemminated to the general public through multimedia and digital exhibitions, he said.

Visitors can access better knowledge about these schemes and policies of the Central Government through advanced technologies in the form of augmented reality, virtual reality, sound shower and digital puzzels which are being put up in the exhibition.

The 10-day exhibition will also feature events such as folk dance competition, cultural performances, story telling and quiz competition based on the flagship programs of the Central Government. Prizes will be presented to the winners of various competitions.
