 Gudivada, July 28 (prajaamaravati): State Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kodali Srivenkateswara Rao (Nani) said that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure better treatment for patients at the Mrs. Anne Pushpa Leelavathi Gudivada Area Government Hospital,  Gudiwada town, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh.  On Friday, Minister Kodali Nani said a 100-bed government building was being constructed during the tenure of the late NTR chief minister.  He said the building was in a state of disrepair and was receiving better services from the inpatient and outpatient departments.  As soon as he took charge as a minister, Rs.10.30 crore has been sanctioned.  Mega Engineers has won the tenders and construction work will start on January 30 this year.  Once the building is completed, it will be able to provide better services through 10 types of inpatient and outpatient departments in one place.  Departments like Medical, Surgical, Gynecological, Ophthalmology, ENT, Pediatric will be set up on the first floor.  On the second floor, inpatient services will be provided in the wards of the respective departments.  Meanwhile, Providing better medical care to those infected with corona by setting up a Covid section in the Gudivada Government Hospital.  So far all precautions have been taken to ensure no problems in the oxygen supply. He said Adama Pvt Ltd had agreed to hand over the oxyzen plant to Gudivada Government Hospital. The platform has been prepared for setting up the plant.  Shed construction work is also underway.  He said the plant would come into use in a few days. We can supply oxygen to 300 beds continuously.  Also fill the cylinders so that the required amount of oxygen is available.  The government has also allocated Rs. 40 lakh has been sanctioned.  The plant will also be set up soon. We faced the corona second wave effectively.  "We are setting up a pediatric ward with a capacity of 20 oxygen beds in the Government Hospital in the wake of the third wave," he said.  Of these, 10 will be ICU beds.  Minister Kodali Nani said the aim was to provide complete medical services to the people of Gudiwada town and surrounding areas through the Gudivada Government Hospital.
