Vijayawada, Aug 11 (prajaamaravati): State Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kodali Srivenkateswara Rao (Nani) has said that CM Jaganmohan Reddy has given the highest priority to social justice in his nominated posts. Tummala Chandrasekhara Rao (Buddi), who has been appointed as the Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Kamma Welfare Development Corporation, was sworn in at Dhanekula Kalyana Mandapam in Vijayawada on Wednesday. Minister Kodali Nani along with Deputy CM P Pushpasrivani, Ministers Perni Venkatramayya (Nani), Sriranganatharaju, MLAs Kolusu Parthasaradhi, Vasantha Krishna Prasad, Jogi Ramesh, Kaile Anil Kumar, Kokkiligadda Rakshananidhi, Women's Commission Chairperson Vasireddy Padma and others were present on the occasion. Minister Kodali Nani spoke after the swearing in ceremony of Tummala Chandrasekhar. Tummala Chandrasekhar has been working hard since the formation of the party. CM Jaganmohan Reddy said that the Tummala were given adequate rewards for their hard work. It was suggested that the newly formed Kamma Corporation should provide necessary assistance to those belonging to the economically backward Kamma caste in the state. Minister Kodali Nani congratulated Corporation Chairman Tummala. Meanwhile, CM Jaganmohan Reddy has waged many struggles since the founding of the YSR Congress Party. He said he had undertaken a long hike as the Leader of the Opposition. Many leaders and activists have played a key role in bringing us closer to people from all walks of life. He lauded CM Jaganmohan Reddy for playing his part in bringing the revolutionary changes brought about by his rule to the people over the last two years. Some of such people have been handed over nominated posts. He said that in the future everyone will be assigned appropriate responsibilities party wise. He said CM Jaganmohan Reddy had allotted the nominated posts so that no person who worked hard for the party would be embarrassed. He said the state government had replaced the nominated posts with the aim of social justice. SC, ST, BC, minority, women were laid to rest. He said that CM Jaganmohan Reddy was working for the economic, social and political upliftment of the downtrodden. He said the decision was taken by allocating more than 50 per cent of the nominated posts to women. As mentioned before coming to power, 56 per cent of the posts were allotted to BCs, SCs, STs and minorities. CM Jaganmohan Reddy is credited with implementing welfare schemes even during the Corona crisis. BCs set up respective corporations for the communities and appointed chairmen. Welfare schemes have changed the status quo of the people. Minister Kodali Nani said that politically all sections are getting help.
