Gudivada, Aug 10 (prajaamaravati): State Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kodali Srivenkateswara Rao (Nani) has said that the government has prepared an action plan to deal with the onslaught of the corona third wave. On Tuesday, Minister Kodali Nani reviewed the medical services being provided to corona patients at the Covid Center, a pediatric ward being set up in the wake of the third wave in the Krishna District Gudivada Area Government Hospital. On the occasion, Minister Kodali Nani said that a pediatric ward is being set up at Gudivada Area Government Hospital with a focus on Corona Third wave. A total of 20 oxygen beds will be available. Of these, 10 will be ICU beds. Adama Company has handed over the Oxygen Gas Generation Plant to the Government Hospital. Technicians were working on fitting the plant. The plant can provide the oxygen needed by patients being treated continuously on oxygen beds. Along with this plant, the government is also setting up another oxygen plant, he said. Covid Center has been set up at Gudivada Government Hospital to effectively counter the second wave of corona. He said more than 200 Covid patients had been treated and seven patients with the corona virus were currently being treated at the center. People want to be more vigilant by wearing masks in the face of declining Covid cases. The government is also easing the rules a little bit. He advised everyone to follow the covid rules. Meanwhile, the government is preparing 462 private hospitals along with teaching hospitals, district hospitals, area hospitals and community health centers in the state to effectively tackle the third wave. Most of the private hospitals are mostly under 50 to 100 beds, he said. There are 65 hospitals with more than 100 beds. He said the government had already issued clear directives to prepare D-type oxygen cylinders in private hospitals. Also ordered to keep Oxygen Consentrators. In addition to the normal beds, oxygen beds are also being prepared. The government is making all arrangements to provide medical care to patients at any time. He said full medical facilities would be available in all hospitals by the end of this month. Minister Kodali Nani said the government was also planning to utilize medical students studying nursing, paramedical, pharmacy, MBBS and PG in Covid services.
