Gudivada, Sep 2 (prajaamaravati): State Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kodali Srivenkateswara Rao (Nani) has said that CM Jaganmohan Reddy is following the path shown by the late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy and keeping the people of the state in check.  YSR Vardhanthi celebrations were held at Area Government Hospital in Gudivada town of Krishna District on Thursday.  On this occasion, Minister Kodali Nani laid flowers and paid tributes to the late Rajasekhara Reddy.  Later, Minister Kodali Nani said that the late YSR had done a lot of good to the people.  That is why even today he is nestled in the minds of the people as a doctor, as a god, 12 years after his death and still alive in the hearts of the people.  His son Jaganmohan Reddy is said to have won with the highest majority as an MP if he left the party on his own and then became the chief minister.  Jaganmohan Reddy said YSR was following the same path to repay the debt of the people who had secured 151 seats.  CM Jaganmohan Reddy said that all the people of the state will be kept in the heart.  The death of the late Rajasekhara Reddy was said to be the misfortune of the people of the state. YSR prayed to God to grant peace to the Holy Spirit.  Bypass roads in Gudivada have been completed since YSR became the chief minister in 2004.  After winning the MLA, he brought the issue of housing to the attention of the YSR in 2004 through a walk.  77 acres of land were purchased and given. YSR died three months later.  He said the Congress and TDP governments had come and failed to build a single house by extorting money from the beneficiaries.  At least the infrastructure was not even provided.  We are building 8,912 Tidco houses on the 77 acres given by YSR. Beneficiaries who have made Rs.  50 thousand, Rs.  Beneficiaries who have paid Rs.  25 thousand returned. He said the previous government had taken loans from banks in the name of beneficiaries and had not even paid the bills to the contractors.  CM Jagan said the government was paying off the debts incurred by the previous government.  Also another 180 acres of land worth Rs.  92 crore.  "We have provided housing and infrastructure to 5,000 poor people," he said.  The name of the NTR, he said, is bound to offend those who claim to have done it.  Minister Kodali Nani said that the late YSR and Jaganmohan Reddy would be the chief ministers who gave the most funds to the Gudivada constituency and developed it.  , Superintendent Dr S Indiradevi, former councilor Madasu Venkatalakshmi, hospital development committee members, several doctors and party leaders were present.
