 Gudivada, Sep 11 (prajaamaravati): State Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kodali Srivenkateswara Rao (Nani) has said that as soon as CM Jaganmohan Reddy came to power, all contract sanitation workers would be paid their salaries on the 1st of every month.  Minister Kodali Nani was met at his residence in Rajendranagar, Gudivada town, Krishna district, by Rahul of the National Skill Development Corporation, New Delhi.  Speaking on the occasion, Addepalli Purushottam said that Safai had identified and handed over certificates to 199 sanitation workers in Gudivada municipality.  Officials of the National Skill Development Corporation, courtesy of the central government-run Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, said they had provided the necessary training to sanitation workers.  Safai said sanitation workers who get employee certification will get many incentives from the government.  Workers' children will be offered better opportunities for higher education and scholarships.  Personal loans subsidy will also be doubled.  Rs 40,000 will be given to each worker after receiving the certificate.  Later, Minister Kodali Nani said that Safai workers who have received certificates as employees should be able to access government schemes and grow financially.  He said the government had set up an outsourcing corporation to completely eradicate the brokerage system in the state.  Workers working in municipalities will be paid a minimum wage of Rs 18,000 per month.  Minister Kodali Nani said CM Jaganmohan Reddy was committed to the welfare of sanitation workers.
