AP Governor to visit Visakhapatnam
• Governor Sri Harichandan to accompany the President for the Presidential Fleet Review in Visakhapatnam
Vijayawada, February 17 (prajaamaravati): Andhra Pradesh Governor Sri Biswabhusan Harichandan is scheduled to visit Visakhapatnam on a three-day visit from February 20, to accompany President Sri Ram Nath Kovind, who is arriving in Visakhapatnam for the Presidential Fleet Review on February 21.
Giving details of the Governor’s visit to Visakhapatnam, Sri R.P. Sisodia, Special Chief Secretary to Governor, said that after reaching Visakhapatnam, Governor Sri Biswabhusan Harichandan will proceed to the Naval Airbase INS Dega by 5 pm in the evening to welcome President Sri Ram Nath Kovind on February 20 and he will also participate in the programmes organized at the Naval Base, along with the President.
Governor Sri Harichandan will accompany the President for the Presidential Fleet Review from N14A Jetty, followed by the PFR group photo with the President and attend the Lunch programme, hosted in the honour of President Sri Ram Nath Kovind. On February 22, Governor Sri Harichandan will proceed to the Naval Dockyard to see off the President and he is scheduled to return to Vijayawada on the same day.
Sri R.P. Sisodia, Special Chief Secretary to Governor will reach Visakhapatnam two days prior to the Governor’s scheduled visit to personally supervise the arrangements for the programme.
