Amaravati, November 19 (praja amaravati): TDP State Executive Secretary and TDP Workers Welfare Coordinator Sistla Lohith said that Telugu Desam Party National President Nara Chandrababu Naidu is working for the welfare of workers. In the presence of Chandrababu, Sistla Lohith spoke on the welfare of workers in the TDP state wide meeting held at the Telugu Desam Party central office in Mangalagiri. He said that like nowhere else in the country, only the Telugu Desam Party is working to protect the health of workers. He said that so far assistance of around Rs.100 crores has been provided. He said that Telugu Desam Party means activists. Chandrababu and Nara Lokesh are of the opinion that the Telugu Desam Party will be strong only if the workers are healthy. He reminded that the health of workers is the responsibility of Telugu Desam Party. Active workers of Telugu Desam Party Rs. 2 lakh insurance facility has been provided. He said that Telugu Desam Party is paying special attention to education, medicine and job creation.
Nutriful app has been created in collaboration with NTR Trust. Necessary instructions on balanced diet, exercise and lifestyle are also provided. It can cure thyroid and weight problems. All activists should download this app. Call centres are also being set up keeping in mind the welfare of the workers. Activists have to register their bio data and phone numbers in these call centres. He said that Telugu Desam Party stands as an example for other parties in the welfare of workers. A Telugu Desam Party worker died in Adoni of Kurnool district. As soon as he got the information, Chandrababu gave Rs. 5 lakh financial assistance has been announced. This shows the sincerity of the Telugu Desam Party in the welfare of workers. In the past, under the leadership of Chandrababu, many programs were implemented for the welfare of workers. He said it happened. More programs will be made available in the future. Also, free health screening is being conducted for workers. Sistla Lohith advised the workers to contact the call center if they have any doubts about the welfare.
