AMARAVATIApril 25th (prajaamaravati): During the closing session, the Commissioner of health and family welfare Dr S.Venkateswar IAS has emphasized the significance of Electronic Health Records(EHR ) adoption in modern healthcare practices,  its role in facilitating data-driven decision-making, improving patient outcomes, and ensuring efficient resource utilization within healthcare facilities in the state of AP. As western countries already fully adopted for digitalization, we also should be  tuned to this, commissioner added.

The Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare  participated  as Chief Guest in  a six-day training session conclusion programme by ABDM , Health medical and family welfare department held at china kakani Hailand resorts of Guntur dist and presented certificates to master trainers.  Master training aimed at advancing the integration and utilization of Electronic Health Records (EHR). The closing session witnessed an interactive engagement with participants, where the Commissioner provided valuable guidance and insights.

              The training program, attended by a diverse array of doctors of all teaching hospitals including lab technicians, pharmacists, and staff nurses, focused on harnessing the potential of EHR systems to enhance patient care, streamline administrative processes, and improve overall healthcare delivery.

Participants benefitted from hands-on training sessions, practical demonstrations, and insightful discussions led by  experienced practitioners. The Commissioner commended their commitment to professional development and encouraged them to leverage their newly acquired skills and knowledge to enhance healthcare services within their respective domains.

The Commissioner expressed optimism about the transformative impact of EHR systems in revolutionizing healthcare delivery, stressing the importance of continuous learning and adaptation to emerging technologies in the ever-evolving healthcare landscape.

This training initiative helps the Department of Health Services' commitment to fostering excellence in healthcare delivery through continuous education, innovation, and collaboration among healthcare professionals.
