Gudivada, Sep 8 (prajaamaravati): State Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kodali Srivenkateswara Rao (NA) has said that they are moving ahead with a plan on corona third wave readiness, as part of which an Oxygen Generation (PSA) plant has been set up at Gudivada Area Government Hospital on the occasion of the death of the late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy. On Wednesday, Minister Kodali Nani reviewed the measures being taken in view of the Third Wave in the Krishna District Gudivada Area Government Hospital. On the occasion, Minister Kodali Nani said that CM Jaganmohan Reddy has decided to set up oxygen generation plants in hospitals with 50 or more beds. The government is planning to set up oxygen generation plants in 140 hospitals across the state by October 6. We are effectively facing the corona second wave. We are providing better treatment to the patients through the Covid Center set up at Gudivada Government Hospital. He said he had supplied 50D-type cylinders to avoid oxygen shortages and supply problems. Necessary steps have been taken to fully address the oxygen problem. Leading pesticide company Adama Pvt Ltd has spoken and said that PSA has set up an oxygen plant at Gudivada Govt Hospital. It can supply uninterrupted oxygen to 300 beds. We also supply oxygen to the cylinders as required by the plant. A pediatric ward has been set up at Gudivada Government Hospital to effectively counter the corona third wave. The ward will have 20 oxygen beds, of which 10 beds have been allotted to the ICU, Minister Kodali Nani said.
