AP Governor gives fond farewell to Chief Justice Arup Kumar Goswami


Vijayawada, October 10 (prajaamaravati): Andhra Pradesh Governor Sri Biswa Bhusan Harichandan has given a fond farewell to Chief Justice Sri Arup Kumar Goswami, who has been transferred as Chief Justice of Chattisgarh High Court. Chief Justice Sri Arup Kumar Goswami along with his wife Smt. Nilakshi Goswami called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan on Sunday, on a courtesy visit, on the eve of his transfer. 

Governor Sri Harichandan and Lady Governor Smt. Suprava Harichandan hosted a High Tea in the honour of Chief Justice Sri Arup Kumar Goswami and his wife Smt. Nilakshi Goswami. The Governor felicitated Chief Justice Sri Arup Goswami with a memento and shawl and lauded his services as Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court and wished that Justice Sri Goswami will reach higher positions in the judiciary in the country.

Earlier, on their arrival at Raj Bhavan, Chief Justice Sri Arup Kumar Goswami and his wife Smt. Nilakshi Goswami, were welcomed by Sri R.P. Sisodia, Spl. Chief Secretary to Governor.
