  New Delhi, Nov 12 (prajaamaravati): The long awaited railway bridge dream of Gudivada town dwellers is coming soon.  Machilipatnam MP and Subordinate Legislation Chairman Vallabhaneni Balashouri met Director General Pandey and Additional Director General Ravi Prasad of the Ministry of Road Transport Highways in New Delhi on Friday.  On this occasion, the traffic problems faced by the people of the town were explained at Railway Level Crossing Gate No. 3 under Gudiwada-Machilipatnam section and Level Crossing No. 52 under Vijayawada-Bhimavaram section on Pamarru Road, Gudiwada town, Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.  An estimate of about Rs 206 crore has been made for the construction of two railway bridges over the two gates and appropriate clearances have been obtained from the Central Government.  Recently, however, Machilipatnam MP Vallabhaneni Balashouri along with AP state Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao (Nani) launched several development projects.  On the occasion, Minister Kodali Nani of Gudivada town held a review with National Highways officials on the construction of the railway bridge at the camp office.  Minister Kodali Nani suggested some changes in the matter of bridge construction to keep in view the future needs of the people and to be useful.  Taking these changes into consideration, MP Vallabhaneni Balashouri held a meeting with officials of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in Delhi. MP Vallabhaneni Balashouri asked to make changes in the design of the railway bridge to be constructed in Gudivada town as suggested by Minister Kodali Nani.  Ministry of Road Transport Highways officials were satisfied with MP Balashouri's explanation.  The current estimated cost is despite the increase from Rs 206 crore to Rs 325 crore, MP Balashouri urged the central government to ensure that additional funds are also sanctioned keeping in view the needs of the people.  MP Vallabhaneni Balashouri clarified that the construction of the railway bridge in Gudivada town will be started soon after getting the necessary permission from the central government.
