Inspecting arrangements for the Hon’ble Prime Minister visit to Bhimavaram on 4th July
Commemorating the significance of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav – Celebrating 75 years of India Independence, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will visit Bhimavaram on 4th July to participate in Alluri Seetharama Raju’s 125th Birth Anniversary celebrations said, Spl Chief Secretary to Government, YAT&C Dr Rajat Bhavgava during his visit to Bhimavaram on 29th June to inspect the arrangements for the Hon’ble Prime Minister visit.
Speaking to the media, Spl CS said, on the day, the Hon’ble Prime Minister will also unveil a 30-feet statue of Alluri Sitarama Raju at S.R. Nagar in Bhimavaram as part of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav and address the public. I have inspected the park and ensured all the work is likely to finish before July 4th.
Further, he added, it’s a privilege that the grand celebration of the 125th birth anniversary of the revolutionary freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju will be celebrated as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav. The goal of Azdi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is to raise awareness about the Freedom Movement and Freedom Fighters' contributions and sacrifices in achieving India's independence through various events.
