Gudivada, October 1 (prajaamaravathi): Telugu Desam Party State Executive Secretary and Workers' Welfare Fund Coordinator Sistla Lohit has expressed outrage that the attempt to illegally arrest Chintakayala Vijay is outrageous.  On Saturday, Sistla Lohit spoke to the reporters at Gudivada in Krishna district.  On Saturday, the AP police went to the house of Chintakayala Vijay, AP state general secretary of the Telugu Desam Party, in Hyderabad.  It is said that the police have almost surrounded Vijay's house in the Trend Set in Banjara Hills.  Vijay was not at home at that time. Sistla Lohit said that Vijay's family members expressed concern that they did not know why the police had come to their house and what the actual case was.  He questioned whether it was an attempt to search the house without giving any notice.  They said that they had caused trouble in the past when the wall of the house was demolished.  Now does not understand Chintakayala Vijay's mistake.  He expressed his concern that people are worried whether they are in a democracy or under a demon regime.  People are advised to think about the situation if they turn around.

Meanwhile, Sistla Lohit said that it is not appropriate to change the name of the prestigious NTR University of Health Sciences.  He said that after NTR took charge as Chief Minister in 1983, he decided to establish a health university in Vijayawada.  He said that the University of Health Sciences was formed as a part of this.  He said that during time, the university got good recognition across the country.  The University of Health Sciences which was established due to NTR's efforts was named NTR University of Health Sciences in 1998.  He said that many Chief Ministers have ruled the state since then and no one thought of changing the name of Health University.  He said that he strongly condemns changing the name of NTR to the health university on the pretext of naming a part of the joint Krishna district after NTR.  Sistla Lohit demanded that Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani, who claims NTR as an idol, is currently in the ruling party and should convince the government to continue the name of the health university.
